AI Product Engineer

Design and build LLM-powered business applications, RAG systems, agents, and evaluation pipelines that make it into real client operations.

Engagement
Full-time, contractor, or side-project engagement
Location
Remote-first, with Osaka meetings when useful
Work style
Async communication, design documents, and small PRs

Responsibilities

  • Translate client problems into technical requirements
  • Build AI applications using RAG, agents, and function calling
  • Design operations around evals, monitoring, and cost control
  • Ship products with Next.js, TypeScript, and Python

Requirements

  • Professional development experience in TypeScript or Python
  • Experience designing, building, and operating web applications
  • Strong interest in LLM APIs or machine-learning products
  • Ability to document design intent in Japanese or English

Nice to have

  • Experience with RAG, vector databases, or eval pipelines
  • B2B SaaS, internal tools, or client project delivery experience
  • Two or more of Japanese, Chinese, and English

Full-Stack Engineer

Own client-facing web applications, internal tools, and multilingual sites from architecture to post-launch improvement.

Full-time or contractor
Location
Remote-first. Japan time zone preferred
Work style
Build small, validate early, and prioritize static generation and operability

Responsibilities

  • Build web applications with Next.js and React
  • Design i18n systems for multiple languages and markets
  • Deploy, monitor, and improve performance mainly on Vercel
  • Turn client requirements into UI, data models, and operating flows

Requirements

  • Experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Team development experience with GitHub
  • Working understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and performance
  • Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements into an implementation plan

Nice to have

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, next-intl, or MDX
  • Operational experience with Vercel, Cloudflare, or AWS
  • Experience designing operational tools or admin interfaces

Cross-Border Business Development

Develop clients, partnerships, and projects across Japan, Greater China, and North American technology markets.

Contract or part-time engagement
Location
Remote-first, with travel for meetings or events when needed
Work style
Document-led work: research, proposal materials, and meeting notes matter

Responsibilities

  • Research prospective clients in AI and software markets
  • Run early conversations and problem discovery in Japanese, Chinese, or English
  • Support proposals, assumptions for estimates, and project scoping
  • Build relationships with partners, developers, and prospective clients

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or consulting
  • Basic understanding of AI, SaaS, or software development
  • Business-level Japanese plus Chinese or English
  • Ability to capture meetings accurately and turn them into next actions

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Japanese corporate decision-making
  • Experience working with companies in Greater China or North America
  • Network in trade shows, communities, or technology events

How we expect to work

AI Engineer

Design, build, and operate LLM-powered applications. Experience with RAG, agents, and eval infrastructure. Python / TypeScript.

Product Manager

Technical understanding, ability to lead from problem discovery to MVP design. Bilingual (JP/CN/EN) a plus.

Cross-Border Business Development

Understanding of both Japanese and Greater China markets. Ability to develop new business and client relationships in the tech sector.
